My name is Brian Etzel. I do web development. And I love to solve puzzles. In the rapidly evolving realm of web development, there's no shortage of puzzles to solve. New technologies emerge, seemingly daily, requiring a constant need to keep learning. This is also something I love. Though I'm soon to graduate with a B.S. degree in Information Science & Systems with a web development concentration from Radford University, I have much yet to learn. The studies I've undertook at the university have given me a solid foundation on which to build future knowledge.
At Radford University, I was fortunate enough to be able to share my knowledge with my peers. I have worked as a peer intructor/tutor for the Computer Science department for 4 semesters. This involved helping students understand object-oriented programming concepts and logic structures so that they, too, could find success.
Aside from web development, what else do I do? Well, I really do enjoy solving puzzles. I have a growing collection of Rubik's cubes and various other "twisty" puzzles. During the summer months, I enjoy cycling and swimming. And though I don't enjoy running, I've also been known to combine them all and tackle a triathlon or two.
